SCRIBBLED SKOOL IS COMING THIS SUMMER! šŸŽØ this is your reminder that delulu really is the solulu sometimes, and that when you ask the universe for what you want, she may just wrap it up in a big beautiful bow and drop it straight into your lap! i started including custom doodles, patterns, and illustrations to our branding packages a while back to add playfulness, texture, and personality, and it turns out people LOVE THEM. my dm’s and comments are always filled with people saying ā€˜these are so cute! i wish i could do that!’ AND YOU CAN. cause yeah, Canva Pro has some cool elements, and stock websites can deliver in a pinch, but there’s nothingggg like taking a little doodle from the margins of your page, a tagline your own handwriting, or a pattern you drew, and turning it into a professional, digital branded asset. i’m literally not picasso. i’m not a prodigy or a super designer. i am merely a girl who taught herself how to see the world in shapes and squiggles, I CAN TEACH YOU TOO! Sometimes the life you actually want starts the moment you stop ignoring the voice inside you asking for more. Just because you became good at surviving something doesn’t mean it’s the life you’re meant to stay in forever. You can be dependable, hardworking, successful on paper... and still feel like parts of you are quietly disappearing in the process. tattoo my name so ya know its reeeeeealll šŸ”„šŸ’ŖšŸ½ working on this brand for @kristivaccarowellness was SO SO SO good. kristi came to me wanting to shift her brand from a primarily fitness + nutrition focus, to a more holistic, elite wellness brand. she serves her clients through luxe, high-touch custom programming and mindset coaching, and pours her SOUL into everything she does. 

we wanted her brand to capture her unique approach - ā€˜tough love with a splash of grace’ and be SPECIFICALLY, UNIQUELY HER andddd what better way to do that than to use the artwork on her body as the basis of the brand (i mean come ONNNN?!) logos inspired by her tattoos, fonts based off her handwritten notes, and a color palette that mirrors her grounded nature.

april was ROUGH — a whitecaps month — but i just KNOWWW it’s smooth sailing ahead! i finished print projects for @coastalhousevintage and @kristivaccarowellness , and have another one in progress, enjoyed a FABBB cruise with my love and my friends, worked my booty off to start promoting my course, scribbled skool which launches in JUNE (eek!) and had the absolute BESTTT community hype me up after i crashed out 20x about my bank account, shout out to marie at @yourgirlmedia who runs the most incredible community of founders on the entire internet 🄹🄹🄹 ANYWAY i’m about to disco dance into my 37th year and i’m truly on taurean time. snacks, slow mornings, growth mindset — ya girl is LOCKED IN (but in a v chill way) my goals for may are: 🪩 work with 1ļøāƒ£ new client to bring their branding or website to life 🪩book 3ļøāƒ£ vip days to help busy biz owners offload their design to do lists 🪩 add 300 (!!!) people to the waitlist for my course! tell me your goals for may so we can hype each other up! if you wanna work together this month, drop a comment below!

if i were your brand designer (and spoiler: i can be😜), here are 3 things i’d tell you to help you build a brand people are FUCKINGGG obsessed with: number 1: EAT YOUR VEG 🄦 before your logos or colors or your cute little illustrations, you gotta get your foundations on LOCK: your core values, your mission, your purpose and personality, because those things lay the groundwork for everything else to be built upon. number 2: BE YOU (EVEN IF YOU IS A FERAL RACOON) šŸ¦ if you are a slightly chaotic, silly person, YOUR BRAND should be a slightly chaotic, silly brand. why? your brand needs to match how you move through this world otherwise one day you’re gonna wake up and be like ā€˜wow i dont want to play dress up today.ā€ number 3: CONSISTENT + FLEXIBLE šŸŒ€ we want a consistent brand voice, but we also want room to play. so to do that, think of your brand as a hotel and every place it shows up is a different room category. the overall vibe is clearly YOU but with little tweaks and bonuses in each space. unscripted on TT, more polished on LI, more silly on threads — but make sure you tie it together with a signature sign! drop me a comment telling me which one of these tips was the most helpful, okieee byeee!!

COASTAL HOUSE 2.0 — bigger, better, cuter!!! 🐚 i’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with robin (@keecreative !) owner of @coastalhousevintage on about 10 different projects over the past couple of years and they’re ALL SOO GOOD, but any time i get to create custom illustrations its a WIN for me! 

Coastal House is moving to a bigger location to make room for even more beautiful home decor, vintage finds, and gifts + goods, plus the addition of @proppy_sp (plants!! hello!!) and a craft cafe for workshops and events. The shop opens TODAY 4/29, so get your booty there and shop!! Can I talk about the house illy for just a sec?? UGH it’s so cute!! sometimes it’s rainbows and butterflies, and sometimes its panic attacks and hellfire, but NEVERTHELESS we run our businesses and run our mouths too 🤭 in true creative style (sooo predictable, lol) my favorite parts of owning our brand + web design business are the creative parts. designing, illustrating, yapping with clients, and making new friends. what can i say, I’m a front of house girlie for life! the admin parts can kindly beat it, but luckily @nickdima_ 's got the BOH stuff on lock. he’s managing our workload, and making sure your website goes from ā€˜let me fix just one more thing’ to LAUNCHED. if your least favorite part of your business right now is your branding, website, or your 20 mile long list of desig tasks — HOLLA AT US! we’re happy to take it off your plate! we’re booking for may + beyond!
