Whale Shark Jack is out now on Stan 🐋
Proudly supported by Lotterywest via Screenwest, this heartwarming family adventure set on and around the breathtaking Ningaloo Reef in WA stars Abbie Cornish (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, Robocop) and Michael Dorman (Territory, Joe Pickett) as husband and wife marine biologists, with Alyla Browne (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Sonic the Hedgehog 3) as their daughter.
Developed by an all‑Western Australian creative team including directors Miranda Edmonds and Khrob Edmonds along with writer Kathryn Lefroy, the film follows the family’s idyllic life on their research catamaran, Playground, where together they follow the migratory path of the biggest fish in the ocean – the majestic, gentle and awe-inspiring whale sharks.
Last night we joined @stanaustralia , @actf_oz and @minderoofoundation at @lunapalacecinemas to celebrate the upcoming release of Western Australian feature film Whale Shark Jack.
It was wonderful to see our beautiful Gascoyne region on the big screen - congratulations to directors Miranda Edmonds and Khrob Edmonds, screenwriter Kathryn Lefroy and the entire cast and crew!
Whale Shark Jack premieres on Stan next Thursday, 2 April.
