Last October, Screen Vixens turned 10!
We celebrated with a big party @aftrs - remembering how we started from grassroots living room meetups (snacks & wine chats on indie producer life) to now: a national community, professional platform with 24/7 chat & growing Vixen Vault of resources.
The Highlight? Launching our inaugural Vixen Awards. Seeing Vixen talent celebrated onstage (with bespoke ie handmade fox trophies + big grins!) was everything.

There's a gap that sits BEHIND the funding gap... and most producers don't talk about it.

I've watched this play out so many times. A talented producer with a strong slate, working through everything on her own. She's capable. Her projects are real. But she's missing the room; the trusted people who can tell her what's not landing before she sends it out, who can make one phone call and open a door that would've taken her six months to knock on.
