Hi. This is the picture that inspired our logo.
We started as a breakfast sandwich truck. It had a few pastries, which was where my expertise lies. With moving into 61 Erie St. we were able to expand on those pastry options and beyond.
In November, we were informed by the Fire Chief that we are supposed to have a hood vent and cannot operate in the way we were.
Funny thing is, the businesses before us were using this equipment. We were told that because it is all electric, no gas, that the exhaust fan built in would suffice.
After speaking with the Director of HEDC in Jersey City, this space was zoned NO VENTING. So we go ventless? Not enough clearance. Countertop ventless? Too small.
We’re fighting our way through the bureaucracy and just hope you come in for all of the beautiful pastries that we make so that we can figure out what is on the other side of this.
