From Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 to the United States 🇺🇸 at 11 years old my journey has been anything but linear. In high school, I dreamed of becoming a computer scientist. But once I got to college, my path shifted. I chose nursing, knowing it would give me a strong foundation and room to grow. I earned my associate degree, started working, went back for my bachelor’s, and kept pushing forward eventually stepping into a master’s program in Nursing and Nursing Informatics. As the first college graduate in my family, my motivation has always been bigger than me. It’s about going places my parents never had the chance to reach. Today, I’m proud to say I hold a master’s degree. 🙏🏾 I don’t know exactly what’s next, but I trust God, trust the journey, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
