The Owl Box has been pretty busy lately. I think she laid eggs a couple months ago and had at least 4-5 owlets. Most have fledged already with at least one still in the box. When the sun goes down it gets pretty busy and loud. There’s probably 20 owls between 3 houses trying to stake out their territory. A group of owls is called a parliament, I believe these are barn owls and they feed on gophers, mice, and small rodents, there ya have it. But I still don’t know how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.
So this is 60. Good times surrounded by family and friends. If the next 60 is even half as fun as the first 60, I’m ready. Thankful for friends, family, good health, and surfing. Had a blast celebrating the Surf Rodeo. ❤️🙏🤙🏽
