A few years ago, I stayed up late with my friends Brandon and Spencer talking music around a fireplace. Eventually a guitar appeared and since we were all writing a lot, we ended up showing each other the rough songs we were working on. Getting to hear two of my favorite songwriters test out and talk about their new tunes was pretty incredible. It’s one of those magical nights that you look back on and feel lucky that you got to be a part of. So when our great friend Corey Fox, who regularly conjures magical nights, asked us about recreating that one at Velour for an audience, we thought it could be a fun experiment. So we did it and as I recall, it was a lot of fun. We shared unreleased tunes and covered each other’s songs. It meant a lot to me and I’m really grateful to get to do it again—this time with our friend Paul Jacobsen in the mix. So come be part of it. Seating is limited and intimate. I might play a country(ish) song and I can’t wait to hear what my brothers are working on. (If you do regret coming to the show, let’s talk about it over tacos afterward.)
