Wee Red Bar
Blurr is a new night from DJ CABLECAR, DJ HAM, and DJ Skotti focused on the meeting point of ambient music and club culture. Inspired by our mutual love of euphoric trance, as well as more stripped-back, ambient-leaning minimal sounds, expect the night to oscillate between immersion and intensity.
With support from Jemima from the Bible (baile/baile) and custom lighting by Ross Imbach.

A Happy Return, Other Lands and Morsel (DJ) / Thursday 7th of May @homebar
We are really excited to put on this gig at Home Bar for an evening of music from some of our favourite artists from the east coast.
A Happy Return are an experimental ambient folk duo hailing from the east nuek of Fife. Their music blends together acoustic instrumentals, tape loops and field recordings to create a series of intimate vignettes which slowly disintegrate into one another.
Other Lands aka Gav Sutherland is a local musician from Edinburgh. His music has been constantly evolving for over 20 years spanning genres, time and moods. Originally releasing on legendary Edinburgh label Firecracker Recirdings, his latest record Star Jumps is an improvised pschadelic journey that sounds like if porty baths made spa music.
Morsel is the latest project of Edinburgh based DJ and sound practitioner Nikki Kent. Nikki previously held down the legendary EHFM lunchtime slot LUNCH for many years. Morsel is a way for her to explore more sonic and atmospheric landscapes in sounds.
