‘Hold You Dear’ - a song for my Dad is out now!
Happy birthday today Dad, I miss you so much.
Thank you guys for listening and I’m all about sharing stories and reminiscing about this great man, my father, if you just reach out to me directly!
It feels good to share this song with the world today. 🤍

There’s an accompanying writeup I posted on my website if you’re interested in reading that too!

I ran sound at the Adams Center for UM commencement ceremonies this weekend!
What a room to run sound in! Appreciate them trusting me to lead engineer their ceremonies. Multiple mics out for the primary speakers, name announcers, UM band, singers, and more - the house was filled with 2,000 proud graduates and about 20,000 in attendance between both ceremonies, with audio sent out to the livestream where another 6,000 viewed online.
Still reflecting on this big gig, and I’m so glad it went off without a hitch. A big thanks to longtime Missoula sound engineer (and early TRC business partner) Jay Straw and all of the UM team. I’m so appreciative to have been invited to be a part of their crew.
Congrats class of 2026!

Hold You Dear - a song for my Dad coming December 20, 2025 on what would have been his 75th birthday. 🤍
This clip has some footage of me playing the song at his memorial service and at open mics. In that sharing I found that we all can relate to grief.
I miss you so much Dad, this song is for you!
Photos from recording in my hometown Great Falls, where Montana All-State Music Festival was hosted. I was chosen as the new audio video live recording contractor for MHSA.
What an amazing weekend recording these talented musicians! I put a lot of time and prep into this, and set up, ran, and monitored 4 microphones and 5 video cameras spread throughout the auditorium and stage. Now I take all of that footage back to the studio to edit and put the official videos together, and then ship them out to the families!
I had a support crew helping with everything else that was required to make this event a success and I’m so grateful for them! My Mom setup and ran the recordings sales booth, stepdad Glen helped with setup/teardown and sales. Michelle is currently sick and had to sit this one out, yet hyped me up. Rick and former contractors answered all of my random questions about past years’ recordings. Thankful for my former GFHS Band Director @dustymolyneaux for hiring me to do this, and for the guidance he gave 15 years ago that led me to where I am today.
I took over ownership of The Recording Center one year ago! It was pretty awesome to have this big recording land right on that anniversary. Feeling reflective on the busy, fulfilling year that it’s been!
This was 2 years ago - open mic at the ZACC playing some of my originals. Nervous yet getting up there nonetheless.
Reminiscing on these moments as I get back into playing and working on my music more again!
At work at my studio collaborating with and helping others craft their music is so fulfilling and it also inspires and reminds me to not forget about keeping at my own music as well!
It’s good to put yourself out there, growth is right beyond fear. My own full-length album will come one day, for now it’s still in demoland and that’s okay!
Thanks for checking this old clip out. :-)

Mid winter Ford truck check-in. Sometimes it just doesn’t start, so you’ve got to figure it out. Ignition and carb tuneup this go around. It’s been sitting parked for a while.
I love working on this old thing, thought I’d record and share some classic truck asmr.

Take yourself to a music festival, it’s super fulfilling!
I won a ticket to Red Ants Pants and last-minute made the trek for the weekend! Here’s the highlights.
Slept (barely) in my truck, got dusty as hell, saw and met so many amazing artists, and ran into a lot of people I know! This is the spot if you’re into Americana & folk music! Such a welcoming community. @redantspantsmusicfestival
Still buzzing from this past weekend’s performances. I’m honored to have become a member of Missoula Symphony’s Chorale this Fall. And this past weekend Chorale took the stage with Orchestra for a combined, three-night concert series ‘Holiday Pops!’ 🎼 🎄
It is a privilege to work under the wonderful direction of the conductors, alongside a talented group of musicians. My family all traveled here and came out to the concerts, Michelle went multiple nights! I feel so supported and fulfilled!
Music has always been one of my main passions, starting with drums at age nine. Things are coming full circle and I’m optimistic about where this may lead. Life is short, pursue what you love.
I highly encourage you to join MSO if you’ve been considering it—it’s deeply rewarding!
