Still can’t believe it! Seeing myself on the big screen in Detective Chinatown 1900 alongside legends like Chow Yun-fat and John Cusack was an absolute thrill—especially on the first day of CNY! This role was the result of a summer’s worth of hard work and months of anticipation, and I couldn’t be prouder. Detective Chinatown 1900 is an incredible film and is already making waves at the box office! Horace Weiman might just be my favorite character I’ve ever played. Truly an honor. Working alongside the legendary Chow Yun-fat in Detective Chinatown 1900 was an unforgettable experience, but what meant even more was the time we spent together off-camera. Some mornings before filming, we’d go running together—something I’ll always cherish. He was incredibly generous with his wisdom, sharing invaluable advice about acting, life, and everything in between. I also had the privilege of being his English dialect coach for all of his lines, recording them for him and assisting him in the dubbing booth.
