4 years to the day since I started Standup!
What an absolute journey and one I have absolutley loved, through all the good and bad gigs! I've also met some of the most brilliant comedians and people, a lot of whom I would call genuine friends, if I could give a shout to everyone thats helped me or encouraged me or just had a great time with I would try but I fear the list may be too long!
I started back in University performing for a local night and instantly got the bug for it, and I set out a goal of performing at least once at @funnyrabbitcomedy (the Universities resident comedy night, ran by the brilliant @oliver.double ). I ended up performing 4 times by my last year and came away with such a deep love of standup, going on to perform in Kent, then London then wherever I could get a gig! I think the best thing about comedy is just being your true self, being who you really are because thats when the comedy comes and thats what I love about Standup!
Brilliant couple of days, with 3 gigs in 3 days and was lucky to have gigged with some truly awesome comedians🔥🎉

Robert worked his way up the stand-up scene, starting in 2004 and found early success as a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire competition 2006, he has gone from strength to strength and in 2010 won the Malcolm Hardee main award at the Edinburgh Festival. He now is a sought-after act who regularly performs in big clubs, little clubs, those in-between, theatres, and festivals around the UK and abroad, after gaining 2nd Place Britain’s Got Talent – 2018. He divides his time between comedy in gigs, tours, and whatever else comes up, writing; songs & musicals and talking to people about autism and he is available in each of these areas.
