A retreat. A book. A decision to āwork on ourselves.ā But sometimes growth doesnāt ask for permission.
In my conversation with Scott Britton, he shared something that stopped me cold. He didnāt go searching for a spiritual awakening. After an initial experience opened his awareness, he went back the second time with a very familiar goal: optimize business performance. Instead, he experienced a Kundalini awakening that reactivated dormant energy and triggered a deep purification process. Not because he planned it. Not because he controlled it. But because growth arrived on its own timeline.
Iāve seen this pattern play out in my own life while building a demanding legal career. The most meaningful shifts Iāve experienced didnāt come from carefully designed plans. They came from moments that disrupted my identity, challenged my attachment to control, and forced me to integrate who I was becoming with who I already was professionally.
If youāre a founder, lawyer, or executive, this can feel deeply unsettling. Weāre trained to steer outcomes. Consciousness work doesnāt always respect checklists or timelines. It asks you to pay attention, release what no longer aligns, and grow into versions of yourself you didnāt consciously design.
Transformation isnāt always convenient. But itās often precise.

Scott spoke honestly about how a sense of worthlessness quietly fueled his drive to succeed. Achievement can create momentum, but it doesnāt always resolve whatās underneath or behind the scenes.
Awareness is often the starting point for real change.

I love to hear how people wake up spiritually and today's episode is incredible.
In this episode, I sit down with entrepreneur and community builder @scottbrit , whose spiritual awakening didnāt pull him away from success, it redefined it.
We talk about awareness as a daily practice, why life keeps handing us the same lesson until we actually look at it, and how the spiritual path and the business path donāt cancel each other out⦠they inform each other.
This conversation is an invitation to stop bypassing whatās uncomfortable and start getting curious about it instead. Because nothing is random, and life is always offering the next thing ready to be healed. āØš

@scottbrit idea of āInner Purgatoryā is something I donāt think Iāve seen described anywhere else in the same detail. As he writes:
āPart of the challenge with inner purgatory is that no one will understand
whatās happening to you unless theyāve been through it. To most people in Western culture, the idea of primarily focusing on your inner world seems bizarre. People may even question whether something is wrong with you.ā
He captures something Iāve been talking to people about for years: the fact that many people are operating with a base level story like this: I CAN move through life in a smooth linear trajectory.
However, almost everyone faces a major crisis or transition. And this usually doesnāt bounce you onto another successful path. It usually involves you getting lost
āInner purgatory is the intermediate state between focusing on your inner work and feeling invigorated to take creative action in the world. When youāre in inner purgatory, you desire to accomplish things from an updated perspective, but find it inexplicably difficult. You may struggle with a lack of motivation, inspiration, or energy for external goals, despite knowing that you want more for your life than doing inner work all the time.ā
Have you heard of 5th dimensional leadership?
Itās a powerful new paradigm emerging from my new friend @ginny_clarke
Recently I had her on my podcast EvolutionFM to talk about it and I found myself nodding my head what felt like the entire episode.
The current shift in consciousness demands a new type of leadership and Ginny is on the cutting edge! Check it out wherever you get your casts on link in bio

What if your belief system wasnāt written by you, but rather one that you inherited?
In this weekās episode of I Can Fit That In, I sat down with @scottbrit - entrepreneur, author, and founder of Conscious Talent, to talk about what happens when you trade the hustle for higher consciousness.
Scott built and sold a multimillion-dollar startup to Salesforceā¦and then realized achievement without alignment left him unfulfilled. His story is proof that success without presence is empty.
We talk about:
⨠Untangling inherited belief systems
⨠Why alignment matters more than achievement
⨠How inner practices fuel both peace and performance
This episode will leave you questioning what success really means and inspired to design a life thatās both accomplished and deeply conscious.

Almost 3 years I embarked on writing a book. Today thrilled to share that Conscious Accomplishment is live and out in the wild!
I never set out to write a book. I just started to feel this pull that it wanted to come out of me after I started to share my experience balancing deepening my spiritual path amidst the intensity of being a startup entrepreneur.
In the beginning, how to hold pursue both parts of my life at the same time was very confusing.
Fortunately I found a wonderful teacher who gradually helped me move through this.
And now over 7 years later, it seems like I am now ready to support others in navigating this process.
If you are curious about expanding your consciousness or spirituality, while also fully engaging your life, this book is for you (link in bio).
Iām grateful for everyoneās support along the way and hope it finds all the people out there who it can help!!

Proud of my guy @scottbrit on the launch of his new book, Conscious Accomplishment.
We sat down a few weeks ago to talk about how spiritual growth and creating real-world success are not at odds.
After climbing the traditional āsuccess mountainā of Princeton, Forbes 30 Under 30, and an exit to Salesforce, Scott had a profound spiritual awakening that cracked him open and shined some light on what he was really seeking.
For the last six years, heās been exploring one central question:
How can we pursue spiritual growth and expanded consciousness while deeply thriving in the modern world?
His book is the result of that journey.
In this clip, we talk about the difference between dirty fuel and clean fuel.
As humans, weāve evolved to motivate ourselves through fear, worry, and doubt ā dirty fuel. It works in the short term, but itās not sustainable.
Clean fuel comes from love, service, seeking to grow and inspiration⦠it feels better and itās more sustainable.
This is just one of many insights from our conversation. Go check out the pod or buy Scottās book if you want to have a meaningful impact in the world while also honoring your spiritual path.
