Almost a week late, but last Saturday marked 1 year of marriage to my amazing wife! It has been a wonderful year, full of amazing experiences! I love the life we have together and look forward to the many years to come!
Linda and I had a great time at the @hawthorneheights show last night, & had an even better time getting to hang with @dangoempire one of the coolest guys in the business, thanks for the great night brother!
Vegas was an absolute blast, had ups and downs in the gambling world, met @bluff , took a picture with cardboard Rick Harrison, took a picture with real Rick Harrison, had some amazing food, and saw as much cool stuff as we could, canāt wait to go back!
If you know me you know that Rush is my favorite band of all time, and without Neil itās going to be way different. However, @anika.nilles is an absolutely fantastic drummer, and Iām so excited to see her join Geddy, and Alex and hear Rush come back! Iāve was never able to see them, so to have the opportunity to has me very excited!
Iāve recently lost 2 of the people in this picture, my friend Justin, who is second from the left, passed away the week before last, and my friend Jonathan, who is next to me, last night. It saddens me that I wonāt get to see either of these guys again, they were both incredibly talented in different ways. Justin was a great guitar player, and something I always admired about him is he was always open to learning more, that alone is a trait that doesnāt come easily to a lot of musicians, he was also one of the most randomly funny people Iāve known. And Jonathan was a fantastic actor, he supplied the iconic voice for John Redcorn from one of my favorite shows, King of the Hill, as well as a lot of other spectacular characters from a wide variety of things. Iām gonna miss both of these guys so much!
Devin Townsend, one of the most photogenic musicians there is. Easily one of the best performances Iāve ever seen, Linda and I were right up front all night and I was filled with joy the entire time. The band was absolutely amazing, Devinās live vocals are absolutely pristine, and Iām so happy we got to see one of the last shows of his last tour for a long while according to him. Also huge thank you to @darbytodd for taking time after the show to talk for a while, great to see you again man! And of course thank you to @dvntownsend for the amazing show and saying hi afterwards!
Coheed and Cambria are probably my favorite band to see live, everything is just always absolutely amazing! The fact that they were with Periphery and Mastodon was pretty amazing as well, I havenāt seen periphery in about 6 years and it was great seeing them after so long! We even ran into @thespencersotelo afterwards and he was nice enough to talk for a little and take a picture with us. And @iamroyank did me absolutely DIRTY with the crowd picture he took of us š
Never posted this picture from Vegas last month, got to meet Vegas Matt and the crew again! When we walked up they hit a $13,000 bonus, literally insane, they said we must have brought the luck!
