Not much happening the first half of May allowing for long weekend training rides, but @eldoracing is still happening every Tuesday with Women’s Night returning May 12th!
There’s a good mix of racing in the second half of May, offering crits, a road race and SCNCA Championship races!
There has been some confusion about championships lately, however, SCNCA championships are specifically for the Southern California & Nevada region as Northern California ( @_ncnca_ ) holds their own championships. This year we have teamed together to hold a “true” state championship for crit and road this July/August. The categories include juniors, masters and elite racers. The winners will not be regional champions, but state champions. That’s right, this is for the whole enchilada! A tech guide will be released at a later date with details about the state championships. Unless otherwise stated, it should be assumed that championship races posted to our race calendar are for the SCNCA region.

The NCNCA and the SCNCA proudly present The California State Championship Races: San Ardo Road Race & Manhattan Beach Grand Prix. The NCNCA will host the California State Road Championship and SNCNA will host the California State Criterium Championship. More information will be forthcoming in the next couple of weeks, but thank you to the NCNCA-SCNCA State Championship Committee for getting this organized with our race promoters.
