Our special, “THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!,” dating game. Burlesque. And best of all? We’re partnering with our favorite sapphic events in town to bring everyone to our event. SO WE FORGOT OUR ANNIVERSARY WAS IN JANUARY… 😅 The first sapphic event we hosted under our original name, Queen Bee, was in February last year. We’ve learned a lot in that year listening to all of you, from what you want to see from us, to taking action when it comes to community care, to knowing how to make these parties keep rollin’ on. From the bottom of our big juicy little hearts, thank you for such a great year. Thank you for letting us create this space and be a part of this community. We never regularly went to queer events before because we didn’t feel seen or comfortable, we never found our pocket, and you let us create our own world and decided to be a part of it. We still can’t believe that we’ve had hundreds of you at events at the same time before, or that we’d even make it to throwing parties in our favorite bars. The friendships and love we have made and found have been beyond fulfilling. Scissor Sisters ATX would not exist without all of you. Happy Anniversary to all of us. 🐝✂️❤️‍🔥
