Independent Artist Blueprint Episode #2
How to press vinyl
Your test pressing is NOT the finish line… it’s the checkpoint. 🎧
I had something else planned but I received my test presses from
@hellbendervinyl @hellbendervinyl Today!!!!
The entire team at
@scientatelier is extremely excited about receiving our test presses of “Sekkle Down” but before your vinyl goes into full production, you need to listen deeply.
Here’s what to check:
1️⃣ Use proper speakers (not cheap turntables)2️⃣ Listen for distortion, noise, and clarity3️⃣ Compare it to your digital master4️⃣ Inspect the physical vinyl5️⃣ Play ALL test press copies6️⃣ Take detailed notes before approving
Once you approve — that sound gets duplicated across every record.
Take your time. Protect your work.
You’re building a legacy!
Taking a page out of the book of
@janelee.music @raydaniels and
@damizza to share the knowledge! Each one teach one.
No gatekeeping. Just sharing the blueprint.
Salute to the family and team!!!!!
