Simple steel stool
A steel stool that shows the steps that have been taken to assemble it instead of hiding them.
The stool is made from 3 sheets of steel folded into shape and held together with exposed bolts and welding.
The four small clear feet of the stool highlight the cutouts that allow the feet to be attached to the stool.
I’ll be exhibiting my project 27th of June until 2nd of July, at the Royal Academy of Art, the Hague. Come by!

Recently I got the opportunity to create my biggest painting so far (3.70 x 2.50 meters). For @zeilenvanvrijheid who bring medical aid to Ukraine. This ambulance was part of their 35th convoy.
The painting is called “Rots in de branding” which is a Dutch saying and translates to “rock in the surf”, meaning: no matter how much violence there is around you, you stand firm.
