AIXOPLUC is a performance within the project ‚Walls of Breath - from inside out’ about safe spaces and security for women in prison.
It explores protection within a system of confinement, the need for breathing room within walls, and the inner spaces that can emerge despite external constraints. The title plays with shifts in perspective—with inside and outside, with visibility and reversal.
At its core lies the question: Where does security arise when freedom is restricted? And how can security be conceived in a context characterized by control and isolation?

Hello everyone,
This has been my home for the last 10 weeks and will be for three more.
My residency #villawaldberta, the official artist residency of the ” Landeshauptstadt, München“ has been everything I needed as a person as an artist and as a daughter.
It has been so long that I haven’t communicated anything that I even forgot how to post. I know, nobody cares but I thought it was annoying and funny at the same time..
Since there’s few days left for the open studios on the 21st of March, I decided that I will keep you posted about what I have done and will do during the next couple of weeks.

In dieser Werkstatt mit der Künstlerin Christina Schultz geht es um Geschichten – und darum, Verbindungen entstehen zu lassen. Über das gemeinsame, transversale Briefeschreiben entsteht ein Austausch zwischen den Teilnehmenden in der Färberei und Frauen, die sich derzeit in Untersuchungshaft in der Justizvollzugsanstalt Stadelheim befinden. Die Beteiligten treffen sich nicht persönlich, sondern berühren sich über fiktionale Briefe und visuelle Gedichte und überwinden so räumliche und situative Grenzen.

Christina Schultz begleitet die Workshops abwechselnd an beiden Orten, beginnend in der JVA. Die entstandenen Texte und Arbeiten bringt sie jeweils zum nächsten Termin an den anderen Ort mit – als Antwort, Weiterführung oder neuen Impuls. Ob ihr darauf reagiert, eigene Spuren legt oder neue Verbindungslinien schafft, liegt bei euch. Schreiben, Zeichnen oder andere Ausdrucksformen sind gleichermaßen willkommen. Christina sorgt dabei für einen geschützten Rahmen und unterstützt euch nach euren individuellen Bedürfnissen.

Vorkenntnisse im Schreiben sind nicht nötig. Eingeladen sind alle, die Lust haben, Fragen von Privatsphäre und Sicherheit künstlerisch zu erforschen und Teil eines besonderen, grenzüberschreitenden Projekts zu werden.

Aixopluc ist übrigens Katalanisch und bedeutet so viel wie Zufluchtsort, Unterschlupf, Schutz oder Obdach.

Preparant el mural per l’acció contra les agressions masclistes el 21 de novembre a la plaça de la Virreina impulsat per les veïnes de Gràcia. El divendres 21. 11. a les 18.30 farem una lectura del text dramatitzat i d’autoria col·lectiva ‘Llençols de resistència’ creat en el marc d’una recerca artística amb veines de Gracia sobre les dones de la transició Espanyola a Gràcia amb @eart_barcelona .
