I had no idea that becoming a monk would have changed my life the way it did!
Although I was a monk for only a month, I still gained A LOT of wisdom in that short time. I try very hard to live and THINK like one. I wake up everyday with gratitude and intention. I personally like to focus on the impact that I may have on others.
One of the biggest lessons I learned, is the value and power of the heart. Lead this life with love and kindness towards others and most importantly to yourself. Accept and be grateful for the celebrations, struggles, insecurities, etc., for only what they are. They’re just a moment in time. You never know how that moment will affect the rest of your life. We all deal with personal traumas and life experiences in our own ways. Put your ego aside and understand we are all doing the best we can with the baggage we carry.
To everyone that I’ve met along the way, whether you’re still in my life or not. I hope that your lives were better as a result of having me. I know mine was better because of you.
I’m grateful! ❤️
It’s a different kind of feeling when someone takes the time to connect with the people closest to you and more… just to make you smile. There’s something special about being cared for in ways you didn’t even think to ask for. I felt this one.
Best birthday gift I could’ve asked for. Thank you ❤️
Also, thank you to all in this video that took the time out of your day to be silly and dance like me. 🤣
we were on the news this morning 🎥
And after some quiet reflection, it got me thinking. How did we even get here? Luck? Timing? Grinding? Showing up? Maybe a mixture of all of those things? But there was one word that stood out to me and it always has especially when dealing @brittanyy_best #iykyk
Intentionality
Brittany and I have spent years figuring out how we could live a life based heavily off of intentionality. Her vision boards every year keep us grounded. Who we give energy to and who we protect it from takes a level of intentional thought.
I remember the first time we made a financial goal we took a dollar bill, wrote five 0’s next to it, and stuck in on our ceiling right above our bed. That was the first big test of how strong living a life with intention could be. Once we achieved that goal we shifted it to our friendships. A few were lost but the ones we maintained became stronger than I could have ever imagined and the ones we gained felt like it was destined to happen.
So what am I blabbering about here? What’s my point?
My point is to say that our inner circle may not be massive but what we are doing within it MOST DEFINITELY is. This year may very well be the year that @thisinsaneidea creates a space for people to share stories other than just their love stories. @schuay and @ovidalcreative thank you for being a part of this leg of the journey. I hope you both can see the vision we have for the future and enjoy every up and down of the ride!
Feeling massively thankful for our couples who cheer us on every day and trust us to document one of the most important chapters of their lives with just as much care as they have. I will never take it for granted. EVER.
And for you LOML, I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else by my side. Almost seven years ago we both lost our jobs within weeks of each other while having a mortgage, two car notes, a three year old, a dog, and a whole newborn. Backs totally against the wall. All odds NOT in our favor. But after getting knocked down so badly, standing up has been the only option ever since.
🎵It’s gon’ be alright. It’s gon’ be okay🎵
2024 - What a ride it has been!
This year was blessed with the highest highs, and the lowest of lows. Taking, arguably, the biggest risk of my life to chase a dream and become my own boss. Queue “start a business they said…” Its been a struggle, but I’m driven to do this passionately and humbly. This year/chapter of my life has made me question myself “How bad do you want it?” Thanks to those that have supported me and cheered me on. Looking forward to the next year. The marathon continues!
Also a big shoutout to @thisinsaneidea & @vtecturtle . Thank you for being the individuals that you are, and for being in my corner. Your selflessness does not go unnoticed! Words can’t express how grateful I am!
Cheers to the new year!

Looking back on 2024, we’re filled with immense gratitude and pride. 💙
This year has brought so many incredible moments, and we’re beyond thankful to the amazing grooms who allowed us to capture the heart and soul of their wedding days.
It’s been a privilege to capture these raw, heartfelt moments, and we can’t wait for what’s next. 📸
We are also incredibly thankful for our second photographer @schuay , who plays a key role in capturing the emotional moments leading up to the first time you see each other and all of the moments in between throughout your wedding day. His work is essential to telling the full story of the day, and we couldn’t do it without him!
Here’s to even more love, laughter, and unforgettable memories in 2025!
