#ThrowbackThursday: From February 2020 to April 2026, the journey comes full circle. Through the partnership between @rbtv_22 and School the World, the Flor de Anis community in Panama has become more than just a place on a map, it’s a community rooted in connection, growth, and lasting impact. Six years ago, students first arrived with a shared purpose. This past April, they returned—reconnecting with the community, building alongside them, and witnessing the impact of education over time. #RBTV #SchoolTheWorld #ServiceLearning #GlobalImpact

#WorldChangerWednesday: From the board meeting to the mountains of Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca, this is what impact looks like. During our recent board meeting in Panama, our board members and staff dove into the next phase of our Moonshot 2030 vision. But the real perspective shift happened outside the meeting room and during book deliveries. Our staff and board members met students who walk over two hours each way to get to school. We heard from a passionate principal with a clear vision: bring early education closer to home so young learners don’t have to make that journey. A highlight for everyone was watching our Regional Director of Service and Special Projects, Ana read aloud as students gathered in to listen. Parents even joined the read a loud, picking up books and reading alongside them. #Panama #EducationForAll #GlobalEducation #SchoolTheWorld

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the moms who pass on the power of education. 🌎📚 For Karen Crowley and her daughters—Shea, Robyn, and Grace, education was never just a lesson, it was a way of life. From classrooms to communities across the U.S. and Central America, Karen led by example, showing her girls that learning has the power to shape futures. What started as shared experiences grew into something deeper, each daughter carrying those values forward in her own way, building connections, widening circles, and seeing firsthand what happens when education becomes a shared priority. Happy Mother’s Day 💐 Today we celebrate the women who shape lives in powerful ways—through guidance, resilience, and unconditional love. Mothers, grandmothers, mentors, and caregivers remind us every day what it means to show up, to give, and to believe in something bigger than ourselves. Here’s to the ones who teach, uplift, and inspire, today and every day. ❤️ #MothersDay #CelebrateMoms #ThankYouMom #StrongWomen

One block at a time, mothers are building brighter futures. This Mother’s Day, we honor Eufemenia. Eufemenia is a single mother of five in Panama who never had the chance to go to school herself, but is determined to create a different path for her daughters. Balancing long days of work and raising her children on her own, she still stepped forward to help build classrooms in her community—learning new skills and encouraging others along the way. Today, she’s not just a mother, but a leader, proving that opportunity can be built, even from the ground up. Spreading love, peace, patience, and humility at the Village and beyond. In April, we had two groups of Villagers on service learning projects in Panama with @schooltheworld and the Dominican Republic in partnership with @bgcdorchester . "This year in Panama, I witnessed students going to extreme lengths, sometimes walking hours each way just for the chance to obtain an education which made me deeply value my own opportunities," said Huddle Leader Olivia Peralta. "This experience will always stay with me as a constant reminder of how much the community appreciated the fact that we were there to serve and support their futures." We're so proud of their hard work, and the lives they've impacted with their time and effort.

#WorldChangerWednesday: Meet Antonio from Envisage. Growing up in a rural community himself, this experience in Guatemala felt deeply personal. What started as a service trip became a true shift in perspective—shaped by the friendships he built, the moments shared, and the connections formed with the community. From working side by side on the build site to laughing and learning with students, Antonio found a sense of belonging that went far beyond the week. He came to give back and left with new friends, a deeper understanding, and a perspective that will stay with him. A Mother Who Leads by Learning: Catarina This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring mothers who champion education—not just for their children, but alongside them. For Catarina, that meant doing something she once thought impossible: going back to school. At 39, after a lifetime without access to education, Catarina made the decision to learn. Today, she can read, write, and even study alongside her children—showing them that it’s never too late to grow. “Now, I can study with my children… they are so happy that I am in school.” This Mother’s Day, honor a mother who inspires you, donate today to support mothers like Catarina who are building brighter futures—for themselves and their children. /mothers-day-stw Watch Catarina's story here: https://youtu.be/0mXnybMaAZo?si=A8P2zaAcq9jtnxQm #MothersDay #EducationForAll #MothersWhoInspire #SchoolTheWorld
