Through the partnership between @rbtv_22 and School the World, the Flor de Anis community in Panama has become more than just a place on a map, itâs a community rooted in connection, growth, and lasting impact.

During our recent board meeting in Panama, our board members and staff dove into the next phase of our Moonshot 2030 vision.
But the real perspective shift happened outside the meeting room and during book deliveries.
Our staff and board members met students who walk over two hours each way to get to school. We heard from a passionate principal with a clear vision: bring early education closer to home so young learners donât have to make that journey.
A highlight for everyone was watching our Regional Director of Service and Special Projects, Ana read aloud as students gathered in to listen. Parents even joined the read a loud, picking up books and reading alongside them.

For Karen Crowley and her daughtersâShea, Robyn, and Grace, education was never just a lesson, it was a way of life. From classrooms to communities across the U.S. and Central America, Karen led by example, showing her girls that learning has the power to shape futures.

This Motherâs Day, we honor Eufemenia. Eufemenia is a single mother of five in Panama who never had the chance to go to school herself, but is determined to create a different path for her daughters.
Balancing long days of work and raising her children on her own, she still stepped forward to help build classrooms in her communityâlearning new skills and encouraging others along the way.
Today, sheâs not just a mother, but a leader, proving that opportunity can be built, even from the ground up.

In April, we had two groups of Villagers on service learning projects in Panama with @schooltheworld and the Dominican Republic in partnership with @bgcdorchester .ââ

From working side by side on the build site to laughing and learning with students, Antonio found a sense of belonging that went far beyond the week.
He came to give back and left with new friends, a deeper understanding, and a perspective that will stay with him.
