Yeasterday we held a very small but a very wholesome exhibition. Thanks to our friends from Reforum Space, who happily agreed to host this event, we were able not only to showcase the best works of our students, but also to meet a bunch of great people along the way ❤️
You can still check out the expo and get a free postcard with photographs from our talented students!
This was one of the last photographs you would see at the exhibition. The man on the picture is saying goodbye to everyone who takes a minute to get to know him
Would you be interested in taking a look at the works of our students from one of the practice on-site classes?
Here is one anyways! Make sure to check availability of our next course when you are ready to hit the streets 💪
Boy the people of the market are a vivid bunch!
It's practically impossible to avoid the temptation to take a couple of pictures. Most of the action is happening right before your eyes and to miss this whole act is to miss on life, my friends!
A soon as we got to the streets, everyone was already full of energy and eager to conquer the wilderness!
But how does one approach a person to take a picture of? Slow and steady of course! Don't be afraid to come a little bit closer to people. Most of them don't mind being photographed and some of them will even offer you fruits (true story)
Hey! It's practice time!
Now that all of our students know everything about the cameras they use and the basics of lighting, let's dive into using all of that in the real world!
In this class we face the infamous hard light and try to conquer it by moving it around and changing its direction to fit the scene.
We learn about different qualities of light. How soft it can get when bounced off of a reflector or a ceiling. Also we memorize a couple of commonly used light schemes such as Rembrandt and Hollywood.
And here's the pictures our students have taken. Take a look at the contrast and texture here. Also the creative use of reflections!
They grow up so fast 😭
