| I Got The Magic In Me |
Y’all, this was a very special tattoo. My dear friend @schmandrewart , who I’ve know for almost five years now, wanted me to do his first tattoo to celebrate getting his first commissions from Magic the Gathering (so amazing right??).
Specifically, he wanted for me to do my own interpretation of the Duskmourn logo (designed by his friend @daltpink ) so I looked up some gorgeous Valgavoth art for inspiration!
I am so proud of Andrew and all he has accomplished. He’s an incredible artist and friend, and I urge you to go check out his work!

“Creativity”
As an artist, the media I consume influences the work I make. Ever since I started playing Magic: The Gathering, I’ve been enthralled by the artwork on each card. It’s what got me into art and illustration, and I ABSOLUTELY would not be where I am right now without it. I’ve always loved this game, and for most of my career, I never thought I’d get the chance to do art for Magic.
I definitely didn’t think I’d get the chance back in 2022 when @gatheringisthemagic interviewed me for the documentary “The Gathering is the Magic”. Fast forward to now and I’ve been working with Magic since 2023, and I’m so incredibly grateful for everything this community has given me💜🙏💜.
