Today I’ll show you how to use to use the mono input (in 4) on Eddy to mix a massive kickdrums with your big industrial drones to make them pump. I’ll end up making a full weird beat on the system and jam on it.

Eddy let you mix and CV control up to three stereo signals and one mono together. Your final mix can be clean, compressed or distorted (using similar circuit as in the awesome 100 Grit).
Unused stereo channels will create tuned feedback loops that are voltage controlled as well, great to create percussions and / or wall of noise type sounds.
If you need even more flexibility, the Cascade expander let you tap individual channels or feedback loops, as well giving access to each different mix color (mix/comp/dist) on dedicated stereo outputs.

Here is Cascade, Eddy’s expander, explained in one minute.
The Cascade is an expander for Eddy that allows access to the individual VCA outputs for use as a triple stereo VCA as well as access to the feedback filter outputs and simultaneous clean, compressed, and distorted bus outputs for additional mixing and processing options.
It is passive and neither increases the current draw of Eddy or does anything without it.

Riding the polyphonic vibe with the Schlappy Patching system. Here is a soft arpeggios patch, showing these modules are not only made for harsh industrial tones and feedback mayhem.
Tips to try at home from this patch:
- send your full polyphonic mix to one filter (or two panned left and right like I did here) and use a OR of your envelopes to modulate cutoff (max output of Boundary Layer in this patch) so each note does something to the filter.
- you can use BTFLD as an attenuator / VCA for stepped voltages as it will pass them almost indentical from it’s stepped output.

Eddy can be used to amplify line level instruments on it’s third channel using an optional header on the back of the module.
In this patch I’m taking advantage of this to use the @madeinpolyend Tracker in the modular and to drive the whole game patch using the Boundary Layer as a stereo enveloppe follower and gate extractor.

Schlappy Saturday!
Today we go total chaos with a dens feedback network we’re self patching is the rule.
Also I’m back on the Interstellar Radio, the first Schlappi Engineering module, as the main sound generator, filtered by the Angle Grinder.
The Grinder is also being fed back into the Interstellar Radio, wich is also modulating it from the Error output (also sent back at it’s own input) while the Boundary Layer is shaping all this a bouncing ball mayhem.
