Often I picture the alternate timeline where we have some amazing Buddy Holly albums from the ‘60s, certainly such a songwriting powerhouse would have brought something special to the long-player format. As it stands, we have so many great tunes from his 22 (!) years on this earth. I have so many fond memories of listening to this one on the oldies station as a kid, still such a banger.
Speaking of alternate timelines, there’s one where I put together a Buddy Holly tribute performance this year… didn’t happen unfortunately, or rather it only KINDA happened as a two-song set for an audience of two at Casa Baroz.
