Been a long road getting back to this. . I hurt my back in the military in 94 in training, then a lot worse in the desert in 95. It’s been something I’ve dealt with ever since, and the last couple of years especially haven’t been easy. Physically I’m getting stronger, and mentally I’m working on it every day. I’ve got a lot of calls overdue and I’m working my way back to them-it’s been rough, but I’m getting there. Not lost on me how lucky I am to be out here riding again - especially in the woods, doing what I’ve always loved. BMX or trails - it’s always been the same for me. Style, control, and doing things your own way. That’s what built SCg - and it hasn’t changed. Huge Thank You to everyone that’s supported us along the way — our crew, the bosslady, my parents, Andres, Sergio. To all my fellow Veterans, today is your day. Celebrate all we have, all we have lost, and those that are not here to celebrate with us. Freedom has a price, and we all signed that blank check for country and to one another. I am a a veteran, and proud of my service. I gave more than just a pound of flesh, and will carry my service to my grave. With my sacrifice that I’m talking about today, i implore us all to remember this, we all have more in common than not. I’ve been MIA for a while. Last two and a half years have been trying, whime ty#he last year and a half have gotten continually worse. Excruciating pain all the time, lots of pain peds, laid up, and disconnected are the only way to describe it. I’m stoked to say that I’ve had a major back surgery 6 weeks ago and it’s got me feeling better. 7:03pm yesterday. Wrapping up a day of cabinet work, and about to make the hours drive back to tampa.
