We had a meaningful day connecting with members, sharing local resources, discussing health and wellness topics, and helping attendees learn more about SCFHP benefits and services. Thank you to our community partners, SCFHP staff, and everyone who helped make the event special.

Exercise can help ease arthritis pain and keep joints moving. According to the Arthritis Foundation, low-impact activities can help. Walking, swimming, gentle strength training, and stretching are great options. Talk with your doctor to find what works best for you.

We’re celebrating Older Adult Month at the SCFHP Blanca Alvarado Community Resource Center in East San José today!
SCFHP members ages 60+ are joining us for a day focused on health, wellness, and community. Attendees are connecting with local resources and various SCFHP departments, learning more about benefits and services, exploring wellness topics, and enjoying opportunities to engage with community partners.
Skin cancer is the most common cancer. According to the American Cancer Society it’s preventable. Most cases are linked to sun exposure. Protect your skin early and often. Check for changes regularly. Like new spots or moles that look different. Early detection makes treatment easier.

Food allergies affect millions of children and adults in the U.S. Knowing the symptoms of anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction and using epinephrine first and fast is the key to saving lives.
