Undoubtedly one of the most technically gifted mixers we know, he uniquely embodies a turntablist attitude lesser seen in dance music circles.
We’re regularly caught off guard by his nonconformist & dexterous technique, which intricately weaves multi-textured layers into a complex sonic patchwork.

Emortal Records is a Stirchley-based record shop, trading predominantly dance music on vinyl.
At Scenes we have a close connection to the shop, digging thru, catergorising, and listing stock.
Our closeness to the shop is a manifestation of the addiction to discovery, a fixation worth endorsing.
There is a feeling of completeness in the process of rediscovering past records to create new experiences on current dancefloors. Grooves which have been danced to in decades past, and passed down locally, are given new meaning. Music is timeless, beyond mortality.
