This is so on brand for Houston. After ten days of traveling of course Iโm greeted with torrential downpour of a classic Texas Thunderstorm. Soaked from head to toe as I made my way home, literally socks and shoes soaking wet. So happy to be home & ready to get back to work โ Ten Days Traveling Across the United States, complete. This is my third time doing the @amtrak Pacific Coast route and it is just as beautiful each time ๐ itโs been a crazy two weeks but I have finally started the return trip home! Met all types of interesting characters on this trip from all walks of life, such a cool part of the experience. The coach class seats are like full blown recliners so Iโll be straight on my 2 day journey back home to Houston after Los Angeles.
Eugene, thank you for the scenic views, slow pace & beautiful memories. Your food was fantastic and your energy felt like home. The people were incredibly nice, a little weird but arenโt we all???? One of the most beautiful places Iโve ever seen is the Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park. Day 7/10 traveling across the United States! We did a seven mile hike through the Oregon wilderness, hit about five waterfalls, and the views were absolutely stunning. EUGENE MARATHON DAY! Day 6 started early affffff so you know we had to go with @starbucks & @bloomsupps to kick start the morning!!! Cheered on @elliefuel@jkeefer_fit@noemyyys at the marathon!!! So incredibly proud of them for going this far, long and finishing such an incredible challenge! We then headed to Florence, Oregon to explore the coast! Checked out Heceta Beach, the lighthouse was so breathtaking with sunset.
Made it to Oregon after a beautifully golden journey on the @Amtrak through California and up into Eugene was everything!!! Some of the most breathtaking views of the American coast you can get! Met up with bbg @evelynpiina to eat a IMMACULATELY IMPECCABLE HIGHLY COVETED, last PHILLY OF THE DAY I GOT IT!!! Philly cheesesteak at Scribles Deli & then got a beautiful hike in. We then went to dinner at Osteria DOP in downtown Eugene, I indulged in a fantastic gnocchi plate. Linked up for a pre-race powwow!!! Glad we all made it safely for the Eugene Marathon. Day 6 coming. Took the Coast Starlight by @amtrak from Los Angeles, that view of the west coast will always amaze me!! Highly recommend travelling by train if you havenโt, itโs a unique way to explore the country, get to your destination and enjoy the slower pace, scenic route!! Day 4/10 traveling across the United States was such a beautiful ride, so grateful for this experience ๐
Day 3 of 10 across America. Shot 50+ videos in the California desert, got to handle a pigeon, then ended up in West Hollywood at Ericโs place โ his apartment looked like a film museum. Vintage cameras, projectors, crystal glassware, art everywhere. Pure California eccentric energy. Two days of non-stop work, an overabundance of content, and I was out cold. Day 2 of 10. California desert. Creating a full YouTube content library for Westmont Performance Loft, a pigeon racing brand started by @westmontexotic_rich rebuilding the long form digital presence after a three year break. 13 videos in one day and the desert did not disappoint!! ๐ต
