Closure and a chance to move forward happened for our ceasefire member and her family this week as the murderer of her son was given 25 to Life. And the forgiveness and Godly words expressed by the Grandmother still resignates in my spirit. Sayin..."she has to forgive in order for God to forgive her". A very true statement that we all can learn from so that healing can really take place within us all as we are all in need of some type of redemption.
We will continue to pray for the family and keep them covered in anyway possible.

This will only upset the ppl im exposing. When the work first began, there were pure bold hearts filled with love, who came to the streets to intervene in the lives of young lost minds that were being brainwashed to believe colors and sections were their end all objective. The graveyard filled up with precious lives of boys and girls, black and brown. Behind this senseless narrative of Gang Culture. As things evolved and some lives got saved by the programs ppl were brave enuff to create, we started falling short of the work ethic as the money came into play and street ppl who were not fully transformed and renewed came on the peace side to take advantage. Though its still not nearly enuff money, we still have a good amount of funding employing ppl who are now paid to risk their lives to save lives. Many organizations have formed to service their communities. With this another form of division has been created. Ppl now pick and choose who they want peace with. There's no real unity to empower the masses like it was intended. Everybody in the work doesn’t follow the same morals and principals. Or the willingness to peace with their worse enemy for a common cause of peace and coexistence. Wars have started on the "peace" side of the fence. No tables are created to address uncomfortable issues that will probably X alot of gate keepers off of the table. Those sitting at tables are not being properly informed about grants, funding and deliverables, and puppeted around while chosen few make the money. And we learned to go along to get along out of fear of being shut out of it all like cowards. THE PEACE AGENDA NEEDS A SERIOUS MAKE OVER.
