this photo of darcy’s engagement ring is inspired by the final scene of the best film ever made, “The Phantom of the Opera”, 2004. You know, the scene where the engagement ring is tied on the rose and left on Christine’s grave? If you know… you know.
Madeline’s Graduation Photos. I am very grateful when the person im shooting wants to lean into my style and lets me play with my aesthetic vision, even for something traditionally very formal. Why can’t even grad photos feel stylized and eternal and unique? 🙏

I assisted a wedding for Guy Cowger (GeeCee Media) which gave me not only the awesome opportunity to work with Guy, but also meet Toni and Darren - a very elegant older couple who found each other after mutual grief. they had small ceremony that was very much so to express something beyond intimate to each other - a devotion to another’s final years.
Portrait of @mai.khoi taken at 123, during Mai Khoi and the Dissidents. Mai Khoi is not only an incredible performer, but an internationally recognized political activist forced into exile, whom I was very grateful to see in person. Absolutely catch one of her performances if you can.
Walter’s senior photos ✨
when taking high school senior photos, It’s a balancing act between traditional regality and learning the subject itself enough to give the photos a distinct personality. It is very rewarding to work with someone who is not used to their photo being taken, talking to them about their own lives and wants, and being able to slowly figure out who this person is. Walt is hopeful to get into an NYU recording music program, and the more we walked and photographed, I learned he has performed in his own band with some of my own friends, and is an artist foremost. I hope my senior photos reflect that for him.

I took two portraits of my mom the last time I was at her fathers house, the house she grew up in, the last time I will ever be there, or she, because he has now passed. Since her illness has progressed, I’ve had a hard time looking back at this portrait. But she looks very beautiful in it and I’d like to share. #35mm
