Grateful doesn’t even begin to explain it.
This last year has undoubtedly been the best year of my life. I sought refuge in all of you, in which you graciously accepted me with open arms and an open heart. You listen, you cherish me, you love me. I could say the same for all of you, even if you couldn’t make it this night. This is to everyone who has seen the darkest moments of my life with me, or who have met me now. In which, I am proud to say, those dark moments are something I can look back at, something fleeting. Something temporary. My life is an experience I am celebrating now, and I can feel my younger self in my heart- they are smiling and so happy. Happier than they could have ever imagined or pictured…for a future like this one. And I have so much more to do, so much more to experience and see. So many more memories to create with all of you.
