From March 6th–9th, Roger Schäli, Filippo Sala and @silvanschupbach climbed the central, previously untouched part of the Punta Pioda North Face – steep, fragile, and extreme 🧗♂️🏔️. A significant milestone in Silvan Schüpbach's long-term project to explore the "forgotten" north faces of the Alps.
Despite icy nights, loose rock, and long days, they never gave up – the goal was clear: Now more than ever! 💪

Cuckoo’s Nest – New Route on the Nesthorn NW Pillar 🏔️🔥
From February 19–21, 2025, Silvan Schüpbach, Peter von Känel, and Carlos Molina established a new route up the Northwest Pillar of the Nesthorn. Covering 1300m of mixed climbing in a remote and wild setting, the ascent offered solid rock and a rewarding challenge.
However, their adventure ended with an unexpected lesson: a crevasse fall on the descent highlighted the deceptive nature of glacier safety. Their key takeaway? Even experienced alpinists must never underestimate hidden risks. 🧐
