…. I’m a body of bones treading up ahead
Full of the people, I once was
Hear him calling, I can’t pretend
Now you’re missing your heart and he likes it dark ——

A new Worms Review, now live on our website. 🐺🩶
For their second anniversary at The George Tavern, experimental arts collective A Woman Becomes A Wolf When She Learns How to Scream debuted their latest show, ‘The Waste-land, the desert + forgotten dreams’. Arcadia Molinas reviews the performance for Worms and sits down with the duo behind the project, Scarlett Woolfe and Alexander Gallimore.
From mimes, poets, dancers, musicians to performers somewhere in between, the night has something for everyone but one thing remains consistent: a passion for community driven spaces that uplift and listen to underrepresented voices.

Poem for the full moon — March ‘26
————-
And they made her lie there
In two oceans of soot
Spitting out tongues
Calling for change
the body the body the body keeps the score
Scratch it out cross it in
In sheets stretching towards the sun
Hear The spirit linger
Though undone
Unfastened unbridled unbecoming
Still the spirit lingers

I’m hungry and vengeful, yet I stand protected
Not pitiful, ruined, I will not neglect it ——
