I was very lucky to be able to spend 23 years having all four grandparents in my life. When I wasn’t with my parents I was probably with a set of grandparents. This morning, my grandfather on my dad’s side, (Pa Pa I always called him), passed away. This picture is from the first time he took me fishing, I think I was 4 or 5 years old. I don’t want to remember him for how I saw him the last few months of his life. I choose to remember the man who would play Yahtzee with me and Ma Ma. The man who took me to get food every time he picked me up from school. The man who would take me to Walmart and Target and buy me figures or Lego sets to my parents dismay.
I will always cherish everything we did together, and I’m going to take care of Ma Ma just like I told you I would. So many things won’t be the same without you. Thank you for always taking care of me. I will always love you, and I already miss you more than you know.
Been trying to challenge myself lately to be more consistent with practicing bass, so here's a cover of Hard To Get By by @ipromisedtheworld !! I learned this completely by ear which is more fun and challenging than reading a tab, at least to me 🤓
The hat doesn’t really fit on my head, but I guess a degree makes up for it 💪🏾

2024 was the run of a lifetime, baby. The best year of my life. Very proud of myself for sticking it through and achieving everything I did this year. I’ve done and succeeded at a lot of really cool things this year! I’m very grateful for all of the friends, moments, and memories this year brought to me. Next year I’m taking it all.
