Um die letzten zwei Jahre Revue passieren zu lassen und auf viele weitere Jahre anzustoßen, laden wir euch am 08.05. in den KV im @zbau ein. Musikalisch wird so einiges geboten sein: neben einem dicken Soundsystem, den SCAM Djs und spannenden Locals, haben wir auch noch ein absolutes Highlight aus UK zu Besuch.

A lot has happened in the past 2 years, that we could’ve never imagined when we started SCAM. We are proud of our vision coming to life through a bunch of heavyweight soundsystem parties with a plethora of special artists and a diverse sound. To celebrate the last 2 years and toast on many more, we’re warmly inviting you to KV at @z.bau !
The musical programming will be massive: including our own DJs and exciting local artists, we have an absolute highlight visiting us from the UK.

Die Katze ist aus dem Sack: Wir laden für unser zweijähriges Bestehen niemand anderen als UK Schwergewicht @kahnbristol nach Nürnberg ein. Wir sind mehr als gespannt, eine der wichtigsten Stimmen im Dubstep seit den 2010er Jahren bei uns zu hosten. Doch damit nicht genug, Nürnberger Soundsystem Urgestein @oakin_bass und das rasante Trio @bassozial.crew werden neben unseren eigenen Crewmitgliedern @ulf__herold , @rubyriot1312 und @kawasaki2k das Lineup ergänzen. Cat’s out of the bag: For our two year anniversary we are inviting none other than UK heavyweight Kahn to Nuremberg.
We’re more than excited to host one of the most important voices of Dubstep of the 2010s on our party.
But there’s more, Nuremberg’s soundsystem veteran Oakin and vivacious Trio Bassozial are completing the lineup together with our crew members Ulf Herold, Ruby Riot and kawasaki2000.
This night will not leave anything to be desired. We are stoked!

Bevor es diesen Freitag schon soweit ist, möchten wir uns die Zeit nehmen und die Artists auf unserem Lineup gebührend vorstellen. Wir starten mit Kahn einem Namen, der eigentlich keiner großen Einleitung bedarf. Kahn wurde bekannt durch unzählige schwere Produktionen auf legendären Labels wie Deep Medi oder Punch Drunk. Sowohl als Solokünstler als auch als eine Hälfte des Produktions- und DJ-Duos Kahn & Neek wurde er in den 2010er Jahren zu einer zentralen Figur der Dubstep- und Grime-Szene. Neben seinen Beiträgen zum Club-Dubstep hinterließ er auch hinter den Kulissen der Bristoler Underground-Szene und darüber hinaus Spuren mit seinem produktiven experimentellen Kollektiv Young Echo sowie seinem Label Bandulu Records. Zu seinen Kooperationspartnern zählen diverse legendäre Künstler wie Flowdan, Commodo oder Tricky von Massive Attack; sein kommendes Release Past Life wird als sein erstes Solo Album, am Tag nach unserer Party auf Deep Medi erscheinen. +++++++++++++++++ Kahn rose to fame by releasing innumerable heavyweight productions on legendary labels such as Deep Medi or Punch Drunk. Solo, as well as being half of the production and DJ duo Kahn & Neek, he became an instrumental part of the dubstep and grime scene in the 2010s. Beyond his contributions to club heavy-dubstep, he also made his mark behind the scenes of the Bristol underground and further afield with his prolific experimental collective Young Echo, and with his label Bandulu Records. His collaborators include other equally legendary artists such as Flowdan, Commodo, or Massive Attack’s Tricky, and his next release ‚Past Life‘, will be his first album solo, to come out on Deep Medi the day after our party.
Zu guter Letzt wird unser Line-Up durch das Nürnberger Trio Bassozial ergänzt. Vor ca. einem Jahr offiziell gestartet eroberte Bassozial die Nürnberger Szene im Sturm. Mit einer Liebe für dicke Bässe und furiose Beats, liefern sie Bootyshake Bassmusik vom Feinsten. Wer sich noch erinnern kann, weiß, dass Bassozial schon bei unserer letzten KV Party an den Decks standen. Doch während Sie beim letzten Durchgang noch den Floor aufgewärmt haben, freuen wir uns Sie dieses Mal zu späterer Stunde begrüßen zu dürfen. ++++++++++++ Last but not least, our line-up is completed by the Nuremberg trio Bassozial. Officially launched about a year ago, Bassozial took the Nuremberg scene by storm. With a love for heavy bass and furious beats, they deliver booty-shaking bass music at its finest. Those with better memories will recall that Bassozial already graced the decks at our last KV party. But whereas they warmed up the floor last time around, we’re delighted to welcome them for a later slot on this occasion.
Wir freuen uns auch besonders, dass bei unserem Jubiläum ein Urgestein der Nürnberger Bassszene an den Decks stehen wird. Die Rede ist natürlich von Oakin, einer der treibenden Kräfte hinter den Soundsystem Parties der Stadt. In mehr als zwanzig Jahren Erfahrung als Dj hat er seine eigene Soundmischung gefunden, die bisher noch jedes Publikum dazugebracht hat die Gunfinger sehen zu lassen. Ob deepere Cuts oder hoch energetische Tunes zwischen Dubstep, Drum & Bass und Breaks, seine Sets stehen für Musik mit Soul und Substanz. Auch seine eigenen Produktionen machen seit Jahren die Runde auf Labels wie dem Hamburger Imprint WobWob oder After Dark um nur zwei zu nennen. +++++++++++++++ We’re especially pleased that a cornerstone of the Nuremberg bass scene will be behind the decks for our anniversary. We’re talking, of course, about Oakin, one of the driving forces behind the city’s soundsystem parties. With over twenty years of DJ experience, he’s developed his own signature blend that has yet to fail at getting every crowd to show their gunfingers. Whether digging deep or dropping high-energy cuts spanning dubstep, drum & bass and breaks, his sets stand for music with soul and substance. His own productions have also been making the rounds for years on labels including Hamburg’s WobWob imprint and After Dark, to name just two.
Nach einer gemeinsamen Free Party vor fast 3 Jahren mit unseren Freunden von der @lfo_kru und dem mittlerweile nichtmehr existenten @abyssaudio.system reifte in unserem losen Zusammenschluss die Idee, die den Grundstein für SCAM legen sollte. Bei der ganzen Vorfreude darauf nächste Woche endlich zusammenzukommen und unser zwei Jähriges zu feiern, haben wir ein wenig in den Archiven gekramt. Um auch eure Vorfreude noch weiter anzuregen, gibt es hier ein paar Einblicke und Mitschnitte von den Veranstaltungen der letzten zwei Jahre!

An opportunity to remind ourselves that our favourite music genres and dance music culture itself was created by groups that were (and continue to be) oppressed by the state and others. We come together to celebrate music as a beautiful weapon of resistance and means of connection.
