hehe! That was fun! Now we want to introduce you to our actual, strikingly vivid Spring 2025 cover art titled “Alien Spaghetti” by Margaret Smith. Smith's piece uses colors to evoke emotion, the diverse color schemes creating a unique experience with each panel. More information about the cover and Margaret Smith to come!

SCR 58.2’s cover art “Morning Coffee” by Megan Ingerslew was created to evoke the nostalgia of American illustration and paintings from the 1950s with an unconventional subject. “Morning Coffee”was painted to create something beautiful and pensive, exploring the use of texture and color to invoke a pleasant mood.” Read more about Megan and the cover in our news blog! The South Carolina Review presents, as part of the 19th annual Clemson Literary Festival, a Flash Fiction Group Writing Contest today Wednesday, March 25th at TD's in downtown Clemson from 6:30 – 7:30PM. The Clemson Literary Festival is an annual event that seeks to bring students, faculty, alumni and the surrounding communities together through a mutual love and appreciation for the Arts and Humanities.
