Countertops can often be the crown jewel of your new kitchen and we love exploring different materials, finishes and profiles in our designs. Here are some fun tips and insights:
⭐️ Quartz is an engineered product; Quartzite is a natural stone straight from the earth!
⭐️ Slabs come in polished, leathered and matte finishes, and what you choose depends on maintenance, feel and the look we’re trying to achieve.
⭐️ We love exploring different edge profiles, don’t just default to an eased edge because that’s the standard offering from the fabricator.
⭐️ Full height backsplashes are timeless, easy to clean, look fantastic, and are often not much more extensive than a tile backsplash… despite what you might have heard.
⭐️ Waterfall edges add drama and class to a kitchen and require careful planning.
⭐️ Darker countertops can add contrast and warmth to a space where a white countertop might feel too stark… but sometimes white just feels right too.
We love digging into countertop selections with our clients and all the reasons for your perfect choice. And sometimes reason goes out the window and you just simply fall in love… and that’s ok too ❤️
