We watched him cautiously meet people, wagging his tail a little harder each time someone knelt down to love on him. Then he found them. You could see it instantly. The way he leaned into them, followed them around, and looked at them like he’d known them forever.
After everything he’s been through, this sweet boy finally found what every homeless pet deserves:
A safe place.
A soft bed.
A family that chose him back.
There’s something emotional about watching a rescue dog realize they’re finally going home. It’s like you can literally see the weight leave their body.
