We are thrilled to announce a $2.4 million grant partnership between SB Unified and Westmont College to launch a new Teacher Residency Program!
This initiative is a game-changer for our community. It provides a $33,000 stipend to aspiring teachers, removing financial barriers for multilingual and first-generation candidates. Residents will spend a full year co-teaching in our classrooms while completing their credentials at Westmont.

Santa Barbara Unified is seeking community input to help design the new Career Technical Education (CTE) and Multi-Use Facility at the historic Armory site. We need your feedback to determine which career pathways, housing solutions, and community spaces should be prioritized for this 4.7-acre property.
