Time for something new ✨
Was feeling super stuck with my previous warp so I gave it the chop and decided to start fresh. Firenze wool undyed, more room to play and just have fun on the loom. Finding my peace in keeping my hands busy recently!

Thought it was a fab idea to set up double cloth in November then life got in the way and it sat waiting… …till now!
Not sure how far I’ll get with this one as I’m feeling restricted and this fine silk is so so slow on a table loom but we will see.

A look back at 2025 ✨

-creating and launching my website
-making and selling tie mini bags
-exhibition in central London
-keeping weaving despite being at work
-summer workshops
-mill volunteering
And being a kickass technician for 2 departments at the same damn time.
Finding it important to look back and remind myself what I did achieve this year! Exciting adventures coming up in 2026 I don’t know where it will lead but more making on the horizon I hope.

Creative bits from October weeks ✨
Not much weaving or sewing happening recently but I still found little ways to be crafty.
Scrunchies for charity runs, visit to the knit + stitch show, woodwork joints from the day job and crochet projects. ✨
Hopefully more making to come in November, trying to get back into it, stay tuned!

Dark evenings warp winding ✨
Making a start on a planned warp for double cloth, really testing my brain with the planning for this one as it’s been a while since I’ve woven something completely new.
Fine spun silk for both warps in hand dyed colours 🧵
