Wow! Last weekend we enjoyed a wonderful couple of days at Towson University right here in our backyard, and we qualified for our fifth straight BHS international quartet competition this July. We shared a lot of moments with many of our most special supporters, with a special shoutout to Calvin here for helping us test the mics before it all got started. Wow! Today we are reflecting on what has been a wonderful year for our group. We performed in seven US states, placed 7th at the BHS international quartet contest in July, sang 20 unique songs for loving audiences, handed off one giant MAD quartet champion trophy and four silly crab mallets to our heroes in @gqladies , and made innumerable memories together and with you reading this. Wow! We had a great weekend performing for the annual show of the Golf Capital Chorus in beautiful Pinehurst, NC. One of the highlights of this experience was working with our pal Squeak Tilton, the chapter’s show chairman. Squeak has been a BHS member for 77 years and is still going strong on the lead part at the age of 95. Singing with him now, you can still tell he was the lead of the 1955 third place international medalists the “Four Tissimos”. We had a ball singing Sweet and Lovely with him at the afterglow. This is what barbershop is all about. xoxo
We’re just about recovered from a wonderfully busy weekend in beautiful Cape May, NJ, at the Mid-Atlantic District Barbershop district contest. While it was a relief to be free from the pressures of competition, the added responsibilities of being the outgoing champs kept us busier than ever! It was an honor to serve as your 2025 champions, and this weekend felt like the perfect finale to our championship year.
Before the contest officially began, we had the distinct pleasure of singing for the eager and bright students of Middle Township High School. Their thoughtful questions and genuine reactions to our music made it clear—we’ve got some future barbershoppers in the making. The future is looking bright!
Every time we sing in front of our home crowd, it’s a special experience. We’re so grateful for the love and support you continue to show us. We truly love this district!
Congratulations to our newest district champs, @gqladies ! It’s hard to think of a quartet more deserving of this honor, and we’re overflowing with gratitude that you chose not to compete last year! You continue to inspire us, and your performances this weekend were absolutely out of this world.

Wow! We are having a wonderful weekend with the amazing Atlantic Harmony Brigade crew. Will Daniel is away this weekend at a family celebration, and we are so very grateful to spend the weekend singing tunes and sharing ONLY A FEW laughs with our dear friend Gabriel Spector from @smokeringquartet . WOW. We flew to Denver, spent a week with all our best friends, and returned home as the 2025 BHS international 7th place quartet. The talent and heart on display throughout the week from quartets 1 through 65 inspires us beyond coherent description. To contribute our idea of what we think barbershop can be is a dream come true every single time you let us sing for you. Thank you for your open ears and generous hearts. And thank you to those of you who wished us well, shared your reactions to our music, and especially the handful of you throughout the week who asked to sing a song with us. We cherish those moments.
