Musicians!! Raise your rates! There are of course some exceptions here, and money isnt the only value source we use to balance our decisions… however if you are tryna do this for a living, then its certainly a conversation you need to have with yourself and your peers! For example your local, grassroots jazz club that gives a platform to creative improvised and original music that has hit its overhead and is just scraping by, but gives immense cultural and artistic value to your scene/community, go easy on them. Theres so much more I could speak on this topic , but its simply too much for one reel!
