What’s intuition to you?
Lately i’ve been feeling my intuition so strongly. I am grateful for the way it shows up so loudly in the seasons of my life where I need to hear it extra clear. It guides, it protects and it inspires, it reminds us of SELF, and the power of mind body and spirit in motion.
I have a 🧿feeling🧿 this summer is all about trusting ourselves and tuning out the noises on the outside that are trying to dim our intuitions.
Dare I say an ~INTUITION GIRL SUMMER~ !!🧿
If life were a garden, dar û bar is when everything is in bloom, the fruit is hanging heavy, and you’re standing there like…yeah, this is it. That’s DAR Û BAR 🌱🌼🌞🫶🏽🍈🍇🌼💛
Led by instinct and memory, this unplanned collection came together on its own, and is shaped by feeling more than intention.
Dar û Bar is gratitude for what spring offers us, renewal, growth, and life 🌱🌞🌼❤️
Some “dar û bar” for Spring.
In Kurdish ‘dar’ means tree/wood and ‘bar’ fruit/harvest. It’s a saying I grew up hearing and saying and I love the way it sounds together.
To me dar û bar evokes nature and abundance but also roots and what grows from those roots. Earthy, alive and a representation of heritage.
This is a super small body of work I created right at the beginning of the new year/Newroz, my muse being the feelings of renewal and reawakening that spring evokes in me.
I used photos I took from my last trip to southern Kurdistan in 2023 and loved being able to use them in this way, especially right now with everything going on.
