For this Elevated Eats stop, I visited @sawarestaurant and met with Chef Gino, who prepared a beautiful spread of some of the restaurant’s standout dishes for us. Sawa blends Mediterranean and Asian influences, and they walked me through a tasting that really highlights that mix of flavors. ✨
We started with their house-made spreads — hummus, baba ghanoush, and tzatziki — all made fresh in house.
Next came a fresh sashimi boat featuring salmon, lotus root rolls, and spicy tuna. After that we had the lamb lollipops, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
We also tried the gyoza trio — pork, veggie, and chicken — a great shareable bite for the table.
One of the highlights was the Chilean Thai sea bass, paired perfectly with a hibiscus flower martini 🌺
To finish, Chef sent out dulce de leche banana spring rolls for dessert — the perfect ending alongside an espresso martini 🍸
