We are absolutely devastated & heartbroken to be writing this At 12:33am on the 12/09/2025 so yesterday our beautiful boy fell asleep peacefully one last time. Jay was surrounded by his family in a room full of nothing but pure love. The nurses said they have never seen a room so filled. We would like to express our upmost gratitude to you all. Without any of you we wouldn’t have been able to get Jay the treatment we so desperately needed to try and save our son’s life. You kept going and give us life lines after life lines. We may not have been able to save Jay in the way we desperately wanted to, but we did gain more precious time with him because of you 🤍 We decided that we wanted to give other families the greatest gift anyone could ever give and that’s the gift of life. Jay’s heart was a match for someone in a critical condition and we wanted to give that family hope like we have received from uses. We was able to get matches for his Heart, Liver and Kidney’s so yesterday he saved 4 different people lives who so desperately needing them. He is now our real life superhero ❤️ For us this means Jay lives on in someone else and is now on a new journey. We are so proud to call him ours and will forever wish it could be different, Jay should be here with us. Our hearts will be broken until we meet again but for now we will settle for his heart still beating out there somewhere. Goodnight our Jay Jay we all love you 🤍 #cancer #gratitude #gbm #worrior #health #chemotherapy #glioblastoma #illness #surgery #healthheroes #superhero #donor

Our son Jay was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma brain tumour back in September 2021 at the young age of just 19 years old. He underwent emergency surgery to remove it but sadly this wasn’t enough. This led to him having to have radiotherapy, & 19 months of chemotherapy to which this took a massive toll on not only his body but also on Jay as a person. Those who have held their child’s hand through this treatment , or have watched a loved one going through this will deeply understand the heartbreak, pain & suffering cancer causes. Jays odds of beating this was not on his side, we was told he only had 3% chance of surviving & our hearts was broken. Nevertheless he fought with all he had and finally in march 2023 he was able to stop chemotherapy and had beat the odds. The tumour was gone and he could resume normal life with no more treatment. It was the news we had all hoped & been praying so hard for. Jay continued to be closely monitored at UCLH with regular Observations and MRI scans, but on the 17th June this year at the age of just 21, we was given the devastating results that the tumour is back & is growing rapidly. Jay’s tumour is a GBM and is known to be the deadliest tumour of them all as it grows what they call tentacles & merges its self into the Brain & can no longer be operated on. At that point, that is when our everlasting pain could never be healed. Jay has just completed another round of radiotherapy to which his body hasn’t responded to, so they have placed Jay back onto chemotherapy, two different types this time, Lomustine & Temozolomide. Jay is suffering immense side effects to this treatment, he it’s trying his hardest everyday to fight. With heavy hearts we have researched hours, days & months as a family to have finally found an advanced treatment in Germany that we believe could save Jays life. Jay has got everything to live for. He has just become a Dad with his partner having just had a beautiful baby girl in July. As his parents if we had one wish in this world it would be to take this illness instead of him. Link in bio 🙏🏻 please share and donate what you can thank you x #gbm #cancer #chemo #chemowarrior #surgery

We’re honestly lost for words… From an idea… to a moment that will stay with us forever. We want to start by saying a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who came down and supported such an important cause. Because of you, we’ve raised thousands (final figure coming tomorrow)… but more than that, we’ve made a real impact. This wasn’t just an event. This was people coming together as one. Every ticket, every donation, every bit of support is going towards helping children and families fighting cancer… giving them hope, support, and a reminder that they’re not alone in this battle. Yesterday was truly special. We cheered. We sang. We danced. But most importantly… we played for Jay 🤍 His story, his fight, and his memory brought us all together… but on Friday, we stood side by side, strong and united to fight against cancer. We couldn’t have done this without you. The community. The love. The energy. The support. You showed exactly what Paschahōuse is about. WE DID IT ❤️

What a special day to be a part of! 💙🙌 This event was for a special young man named Jay @saving_jay24 who sadly passed away recently and was organised by one of my friends @tomstagg_ @paschahouse who I’ve known for a long time. We’ve played football together for years, had some great times and had some low times together and now we are both managing our own successful businesses and helping bring the community together and raising money for some amazing charities!🙌🫶 Days like this really give you a sense of satisfaction and it was really nice to meet so many new people and lots of regulars too! We also met jays mum who was such a lovely lady and seemed really happy with the day and little things like that mean a lot! 💙 We donated 30 large sweets bags, XL sweet bags for the changing rooms for all players, a large sweet jar to jays mum for having us down and we’re also going to be making a donation to jays mums chosen charity from all of what we took on the day!🙌🙌 Thanks once again for inviting us down should be something your really proud of and was a pleasure to be a part of it! 💙🍭

No child or man or woman should have to fight cancer. No family should ever have to face it alone. This event is for Jay, and for every child and family going through that fight right now. We’re raising money for jays battle and @lennoxccf Children’s Cancer Fund, helping children’s and families going through this horrible battle everyday. April 3rd is about coming together, standing up to cancer and making sure we do our part. Let’s make a difference. Together as one. Ticket link for the match is in our bio ❤️ #makeadifference #standtogether #community

Grief can be so silent, but yet it is so loud. I wanted to share this post as it made me feel like we are not the only ones out there feeling like this. If you too connected with this post then I truly am so sorry that you are also trying to live through grief & the pain that it brings 🤍 They say “it will get better in time” As time turns into weeks & months it’s getting harder. They say “you will miss them” That heavy ache you have in your heart is heavier to carry when you are on your knees. Our hearts will forever be broken while we are not together with Jay as every second of everyday Jay is missed by us all. 🤍 #cancer #gbm #health #illness #gbm #worrior #angel #grief #myboy #love
