despite my deadlift’s best efforts to let me down, i have finally pulled 20kg more than my squat
while not the performance i was expecting for myself, it is definitely the most joy and competitve spirit that i’ve felt since getting injured. for the longest time i thought in order to feel this way i HAD to lift certain numbers or hit a certain total, in reality, all it really took was letting go of the shame i had around the weight i was lifting.
now, it’s time to finally move forward, dial in technique, and maybe consider switching to hook grip
thank you to @lift_ng who has been very patient and accomodating with my pain to the point of literally giving me new cues 1 day out (and by some miracle it worked)
and to the very capable @filipponx for more than i’ll ever be able to put into words

This will be a first nationals for her working with @lift_ng as she comes back from a long standing hip injury. Savi competes on the 7th of March, Saturday and will be handled by the very capable @filipponx
