Following the 2018 Kerala floods, @savetheloom_org was founded to support weavers whose livelihoods were destroyed. Its design wing, @onezeroeight.stl , founded and led by @menonpr , focuses on reviving Kerala’s handloom traditions through contemporary, context-driven collections.
'Vidhi' is a tribute to India’s women lawyers, created in memory of Justice KK Usha, one of the initiative’s founding patrons. With inputs from practicing lawyers, the collection reimagines the Sari for the courtroom—structured, practical, and functional. We speak with textile designer Geethika Pramod on how 'Vidhi' redefines professional wear through loom and law.
Elegance woven into every thread. Presenting Neerja —one of our finest handwoven cotton sarees, crafted with care by the skilled weavers of Bihar and designed in Kerala. This exquisite saree features a delicately woven cotton micro-check pattern in striking bright blue and white, perfect for making a statement.
At @savetheloom_org we cherish collaborations with artisans across India, celebrating their craftsmanship and building lifelong relationships. 💙

The special edition on ‘The Future of Shopping’ puts the spotlight on our concept design space in Kochi as the only from India in its feature on ‘The world’s most innovative retailers’ in a list that has stores from US, UK, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and Italy.
It reiterates our beliefs and vision to create a fine space for Handmade in India and showcase it to global travellers and the world. Any wonder, we call it #storeofstories
One Zero Eight is much more than retail - an experience centre - it aims to create, curate, collaborate and celebrate the beauty of handmade.
