MAPSU UPDATE
26th JUNE, 2019. *MAPSU BEGIN MOVES TO END HIGH COST OF LIVING ON CAMPUS*
The Students' Union Executive is set to meet the heads of different units of traders operating on campus to find lasting solution to the high cost of commodities on campus.
It is note worthy that basic commodities are being sold at higher prices compared to what is applicable outside of the school premises which has been a thorn in the flesh of both students and staff of the polytechnic.
This meeting is necessary to review the prices at which commodities are sold to make it bearable for the entire students and staff of the polytechnic.

The MAPSU Elected Students' Union President, Comrade Samson Omoniyi aka *Heritage* said this information was validated by the NASU chairman and the SSANIP chairman this afternoon in his conversation with the unions chairmen.
The Students' union hereby uses this medium to inform the entire students of MAPOLY that school activities resumes back on campus this Thurday. However, we employ all students to get themselves fully prepared to resume activities this Thursday as we pray that the Almighty God will crown all our efforts with success. *Together, A New MAPOLY is Possible*

It is high time we told the world what we are facing as students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in the hands of Ogun state government, ASUP MAPOLY and the School management.
Obviously, the trio has shown that they are not concerned about the welfare of the fifteen thousand students of the institution in the nonchalant attitude exhibited in recent times.
It is pertinent for the whole world to know that a single academic session has run through three years (2017/2018/2019) which should run through two years.
We will unveil more issues as time goes on and we hope this campaign brings about the change. If not..... Time will tell.

This is what you get when an oppressor is governing a sane state. I doubt if we're practising democracy in Ogun state or Autocrasy because if truly we practice democracy, this tyrant called Governor of this dear state wouldn't have been adamant to our calls and rights as a citizen of this state and as a student that we are.
This protest sincerely unmasked the truth identities of the so-called leadership we have in our state. Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa (Ogun state SSG) and chief Tolu Odebiyi (an intending governorship aspirant),who ordered that tear gas should be used on student that were having their peaceful protest demanding to see the governor himself. gave "at Oke-Mosan where we were shoot tear gas.
Mr Kunle (MAPOLY CSO) injured countless number of students today due to reckless driving to whisk-away the Acting Rector of Mapoly. Leadership in Ogun state is a shame.
