Teos2026 jatkuu Kaapelilla tämän viikon loppuun.
Death mask -reliefissä 3D-tulostettu bone china -posliini ja graafinen viiva kohtaavat. Teos on kannanotto merten korallikadolle – valkoinen posliini ilmentää haalistuneita, elottomia riuttoja. Voimmeko vielä muuttaa suunnan? 🌊

Artificial Pelago 🌊
Artificial Pelago sculpture is 3D-printed using PETG—a common plastic we see every day in drinking bottles. But its story goes deeper.
PETG is derived from oil, one of the rarest materials in the entire universe. Formed 200–300 million years ago, it began as ancient marine organisms like plankton, compressed under extreme pressure on the ocean floor.
In this work, I wanted to bridge the gap between ancient biological history and modern digital fabrication.
📍 Currently on display at the ‘Sculpting Time’ exhibition, Marsio, @aaltoatarts .

Welcome to Sculpting Time Exhibition and Symposium
Sculpting Time is a group exhibition by six artist-teachers that presents an expanded view of sculpture in dialogue with today’s rapid technologies, making change and movement integral to spatial practices such as working with materiality, time and imagination, for instance.
Experience the diverse spatial practices of the participating artists in the vast, high ceiling exhibition space of the new Marsio building of Aalto University in Otaniemi, Espoo.
”We acknowledge our growing longing for encounters with materials, sound and light, and we want to meet the audience in a physical space, but we also want to create imaginative spaces beyond gravity.”
The visual artists/ sculptors of the exhibition are:
Satu-Minna Suorajärvi, Marjukka Korhonen, Grégoire Rousseau,
Ari Björn, Jukka Lehtinen and Denise Ziegler
See you there! Come sense time, space, and matter anew!
Welcome to the opening of the exhibition 10.4. at 17–19.
Exhibition is open 11.4.–30.4.2026 at Event Studio, Marsio (Otakaari 2, Espoo). The exhibition is open to the public: Mon – Thu 7:45–21, Fri 7:45–20.

Slowing Down for Christmas 2025.
Bleaching corals in 3D printed porcelain.
Christmas Island (Indian Ocean) suffere severe bleaching, coral reefs are a crystal ball for future change.
The Windsurfers sculpture is now installed to Högsby Health Center.
In the 1970s, the first windsurfing boards arrived in Sweden — marking the sport’s European debut. Yet for thousands of years, linden seeds have been “windsurfing” through the skies above Kalmar.
The Windsurfers sculpture is composed of sixteen linden seeds arranged in a spiral. The “sails” are made of laser-cut birch plywood, while the “nuts” are grafted from laser-cut brass. Suspended from a ceiling beam by a 360-degree rotating swivel, the sculpture moves freely with the air currents of the room.
