The highlight of our second trip to Detroit Michigan was to be part of an amazing grand opening event designed by @hoda_succar and perfectly executed with some amazing design partners such as @thestemcreative@form_creativeservices@swagdecor@rosebrandinc
We installed over 400’ of 20h custom string drape, 1,000 of scralet Luxe Velvet drape at 20’h, 1,000 feet of valances, custom designed and fabricated cascading panels and over 100 ceiling swags. All together almost 5,000 yards of fabric to enhance and create stunning environments.

Gamo’s first trip on Brightline to Miami was the start of a summer road trip. After Miami, @gjomrah and I started in Detroit on a site inspection and drove to Lansing, Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor back to Detroit. Then flew to Boston and made our way to Portsmouth for an install. From there we drove the back roads to Bar Harbor Maine. We love taking the scenic route so we take in what the highways leave out.

52525, a date backwards and forwards that doesn’t happen but about every 30 years is something in of itself to celebrate. But the purpose of our trip to PR was to celebrate the marriage of @javi_nyc and @tbreezzzy and what an amazing celebration it was. I’m so lucky to get to call @gjomrah friends @nelly_acevedo and @lazucesar friends and boy do I just love them both. Before that we got to spend some time with Gamo’s family who seem to have grown fond of me. I just love them all!
Javier and Cesar are Gamo’s friends from childhood and it warms the heart and soul to see how deep their friendship is.
Gamo and I also discovered a new waterfall deep in the woods. As well as take in a mini concert at @thegalleriahotel in Old San Juan that I’ll share on a post soon.
Last year we decided summer vacations got to change to better weather, and we chose Scotland, not realizing that it was gonna be cold and rainy, but it turned out to be absolutely amazing and likely the best time of the year to go. We chose @vacationsbyrail and overall we were very pleased. We landed in the capital of Scotland, Eidenburgh and spent the night. From there we made our way by rail to Fort William, sail to the Isle of Mull, cruised Loche Linnhe, took the Jacobite Steam Train, took in Ben Nevis, cruised the Loch Ness to Urquhart, hung out with the Highland Coo (the highlight of our trip) in Inverness, castles in Sterling and back to Edinburgh by rail to take on the city via 32,000 steps. Nine days later we said goodbye.
Scotland is such a beautiful country with such kind people, no matter where we went. From the Highlands to each city in between had so much character, and I know if we lived there, we would walk that country from end to end.
